I wanna subscribe to Lala! That magazine publishes the
best manga! I'm also in love with Kare Kano, Ouran Koukou Host Club, and Mekakushi no Kuni and I'm wanting badly to read
Gertrude no Recipie. I really like the art style of it's manga. Good magazine *nods*
FFF is about a girl named Michiru who lives alone (if manga was real life 99% of Japan's teenagers would live alone).
On the way to school (I think. I forget ^^;) she passes a very good looking guy singing a very weird little song. Michiru
finds she can't get that little song out of her head and practices memorizing it.
For her
birthday her friend Chiaki takes her to the new cafe called, you guessed it, Fun Fun Factory. The owner of the cafe turns out
to be none other than the singing guy from earlier. His name is Soono. Because Chiaki called in advance, Michiru is served
a special birthday desert, the Magical Parfait. After leaving the cafe Michiru starts singing the weird little song then...
SPLAT! A cake falls from the sky! It turns out every time she sings the song cakes fall from the sky! Oh no! She even sings it
in her sleep, resulting in waking up covered in cake ^_^ Well, it turns out all this is all Soono's fault. He was
experimenting with magicial fruits he bought on-line form the spirt world (see, even demons have their own websites) in his
recipies. If ten males eat Soono's Curse ala Mode (dunno why some one would order something called that...) a magical curse
will go into affect. Well their wouldn't be a story if ten males didn't eat the dessert so now Michiru has to track them all
down and figure out how to lift the curse. Each of the ten guys have their own unique curse. Shin sees every one execpt the
cursed as pumpkins, Sakyou's entire body smells and tastes sweet, etc.
Watanabe's art is cute and very nice. She's becoming one of my favorite artists. The boys are all very bishi. Soono is
awesome! Squee! FFF is a very fluffy, cute little shoujo manga. Highly recommended if you enjoy such things ^_^ I know
I was grinning the entire time I was reading this.
Hikari no Kiseki's translation is very good. No engrish or anything like that. A very perfessional release ^_^ An interesting
thing to note is Jasconius of JASCII fame worked on this release.
